About Career Services
Our Mission
To educate, guide and empower the University of Findlay student and alumni to achieve career success.

We will achieve this by:
  • Assisting students to identify their values, skills, interests and passions and use this information in making their career choices
  • Continuously fostering positive internal and external partnerships
  • Providing networking, experiential learning and employment opportunities
  • Equipping students with the tools necessary to utilize their academic experiences in the world of work


Career Services is comprised of the following areas:

Career Planning & Undeclared Major Advising assists students in exploring and identifying an appropriate major and career direction, as well as work with graduate students in the development of résumés and preparation for interviews.

Student Employment assists students in finding campus jobs and part-time or seasonal off campus jobs to assist student employees with their transition from student to employee; and to provide all students seeking employment an equal opportunity to obtain jobs.
 
Internship & Cooperative Education Programs assists students in gaining knowledge and skills through cooperative education and internship experiences. 

Career Placement assists education students/alumni with job search assistance and placement toward a satisfying job and lifelong career growth after graduation. We offer assistance with résumé and cover letter writing, interview preparation, job search techniques, advice on employment issues and job trend information.
