The University of Findlay was recognized as a Promise Place in the Spring of 2010.ECLIPSe PartnershipECLIPSe (Emerging Community Leaders Investing in Philanthropic Service) In 2001, ECLIPSe was created in order to promote youth philanthropy, integrate service learning into the community, increase youth civic engagement and expand the number of youth-adult partnerships in Hancock County. Partners include the Findlay City Schools, Hancock County Educational Service Center, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, United Way of Hancock County, Campus Compact at The University of Findlay, OSU Extension and Hancock Youth Leadership.Guiding CoalitionThe Hancock County Guiding Coalition's mission is to bring all classes, races, sectors, and political persuasions to the table to address all causes of poverty and create a sustainable community.Hancock County Asset Team - Growing Great KidsThe asset team works to address children and youth issues in Findlay and Hancock County. The asset team's membership is comprised of many youth-related agencies, including representatives from the University of Findlay's Campus Compact Center.
