The University of Findlay Campus Compact Center for Service and Learning is a member of many local, state and national organizations.  These descriptions have been taken from the organizations to which we belong.

National Campus Compact
Campus Compact is a coalition of college and university presidents representing some 5 million students who are committed to fulfilling the public purposes of higher education. As the only national organization dedicated solely to advancing higher education's civic mission, Campus Compact has been a leader in the movement to build civic learning into campus and academic life. Campus Compact has a rapidly growing membership of more than 950 public and private two and four-year colleges and universities located in 49 states and the District of Columbia, as well as several U.S. territories and international locations. 

Ohio Campus Compact
Ohio Campus Compact is an organization of 46 colleges and universities established to support the development of campus-wide student and institutional participation in community and public service. Ohio Campus Compact envisions Ohio colleges and universities as centers of civic engagement and renewal where co-curricular and curricular learning, teaching, and scholarship, advance the public good, and prepare students for active citizenship and democratic participation. Ohio Campus Compact's mission is to provide statewide leadership in mobilizing resources, services, and partnerships that help Ohio colleges and universities deepen their ability to educate students for civic and social responsibility and to improve community life.

Hancock County Coordinating Council
The Hancock County Coordinating Council (HCCC) is an organization comprised of concerned individuals and professionals representing local agencies and businesses. The group networks through its members to keep abreast of current concerns and needs in the community.  Campus Compact staff members represent the University of Findlay on this council.

America's Promise Alliance - Promise Place
With more than 300 national partner organizations and their local affiliates, the Alliance is uniquely positioned to mobilize Americans to act. We have made a top priority of ensuring that all young people graduate from high school ready for college, work and life through our Grad Nation initiative. Our work involves raising awareness, encouraging action and engaging in advocacy to provide children the key supports we call the Five Promises:

• Caring adults such as parents, teachers, mentors, coaches and neighbors
• Safe places that offer constructive activities when young people are not in school
• A healthy start and healthy development
• An effective education that prepares young people for college and work
• Opportunities to help others through service

The University of Findlay was recognized as a Promise Place in the Spring of 2010.

ECLIPSe Partnership
ECLIPSe (Emerging Community Leaders Investing in Philanthropic Service) 
In 2001, ECLIPSe was created in order to promote youth philanthropy, integrate service learning into the community, increase youth civic engagement and expand the number of youth-adult partnerships in Hancock County.  Partners include the Findlay City Schools, Hancock County Educational Service Center, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, United Way of Hancock County, Campus Compact at The University of Findlay, OSU Extension and Hancock Youth Leadership.

Guiding Coalition
The Hancock County Guiding Coalition's mission is to bring all classes, races, sectors, and political persuasions to the table to address all causes of poverty and create a sustainable community.

Hancock County Asset Team - Growing Great Kids
The asset team works to address children and youth issues in Findlay and Hancock County.  The asset team's membership is comprised of many youth-related agencies, including representatives from the University of Findlay's Campus Compact Center.
