If you are interested in pursuing educational opportunities abroad, The Des Buford Study Abroad Fund, established in memory of UF faculty member, advisor, and mentor, Mr. Desmond Buford, provides financial assistance. The Fund enables you to gain experience in other cultures while encouraging you to share the insights gained during your travels with the UF community when you return.  

To apply for funds, students must:

• have declared at least one major in business
• be a full-time undergraduate student
• be a U.S. citizen
• have a minimum GPA of 2.75
• apply for funds two months prior to departure
• agree to give at least two presentations upon return

^{_{AIFS SCHOLARSHIP}}

Through an affliation agreement with AIFS, UF has the opportunity to award two, $500 scholarships to students studying abroad through an AIFS semester program. 

To apply for the scholarship, a student must:

• be a full-time undergraduate student
• have a minimum GPA of 3.00
• apply for funds three months prior to departure
• agree to give at least one presentations to the UF community upon return
