Student Academic Development
The purpose of Student Academic Development is to provide monetary support for students who engage in professional development within their academic area. Student Academic Development offers grants to students traveling to workshops, seminars, conferences, symposiums and meetings. To be eligible, students must be attending an event in their academic area and have the support of a faculty member for this travel. It is suggested that students interested in applying for these funds read the

To request Student Academic Development funds students must complete and submit the following documents:
Student Academic Development Proposal Form
Faculty Endorsement Form
Once the travel is complete the student must submit the following:
Expense Report
Evaluation Form
The proposal submission deadlines for 2011-2012 are as follows:
Fall Semester Travel: October 28, 2011
Spring Semester Travel: February 24, 2012
