Experiential Education

Preceptor Training

RxPreceptor

RxPreceptor™ is an online software program that The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy is using to help manage the experiential process. Our goal is to convert to a paperless process in the very near future for many reasons. Students who have not already received an e-mail from RxPreceptor™ with their login and password should let us know and we can send this, through the e-mail provided. Paper evaluations are no longer available thus we encourage students to login into RxPreceptor™ and use the program. It is a very pain-free process and will help everyone stay organized and moving forward.

Community Pharmacist Preceptor Education Program
Please note the following changes in the Community Pharmacist Preceptor Education Program:

  • The Community Pharmacist Preceptor Education Program will now only be available in an online format; however, it will be accessible at both www.pharmacist.com and www.nacds.org and will be available on approximately June 4, 2010. Original printed booklets are still available at the APhA Bookstore on www.pharmacist.com. Pharmacists can use this version to review the material and then obtain their CPE credits as outlined below.
  • Pharmacists wishing to obtain continuing pharmacy education credit for the activity will now go to www.pharmacist.com/education and select the activity title on the CPE Quick List. Complete CPE instructions will be included in the revised monograph.
  • APhA and NACDSF will continue to provide CPE credit for pharmacists completing this activity at no charge.
  • APhA and NACDSF are reviewing the feasibility of continuing the quarterly reporting function associated with this activity. Additional details on this will be provided at a later date.
