Pre-Nursing
The pre-nursing program at The University of Findlay will prepare you to earn a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. You’ll complete the first two years of pre-requisite courses at Findlay, giving you a solid foundation in the sciences and the student experience that The University of Findlay offers, and then transfer to a nursing program of your choice.
Findlay has articulation agreements with Lourdes University located in Sylvania, Ohio, and with Mt. Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. These agreements guarantee you a seamless, direct path to completing a BSN. You also may apply to any nursing school of your choice.
Both Lourdes University and Mt. Carmel require a 3.0 GPA or better in addition to completion of the prerequisites in or to be admitted to their BSN programs.

According to a study done by Johnson & Johnson, by 2020, there is a projected shortage of 800,000 nurses. A nursing career is one of the fastest-growing careers, and with continued advancements in medicine, it is expected to stay that way for many years.
