New Teacher Leader Endorsement Approved

Are you an experienced teacher ready to take your skills to the next level? The College of Education is pleased to offer a new, state-approved endorsement for teacher leadership.

In order to get the Teacher Leader Endorsement you must take the following courses:

EDSP 630: The Leader: Facilitator of Innovation & Strategic Management

EDSP631 – Collaborative Grant Writing

EDSP632 – Evidence – informed Decision Making

EDSP633 – Mentoring and Coaching Teachers

Courses will be available online and can be added to a current master's degree or integrated into UF’s current MAE program.

All four courses, a Master’s Degree, and 9 years of holding a teaching license in the state of Ohio are required in order to obtain the Teacher Leader Endorsement. The Teacher Leader Endorsement also opens a path to obtain the Lead Professional Educator License within the new Ohio Tiered Licensure Structure.
